Pirots 4 Look and Feel
As soon as you open the game, you’re offered an option to keep the sound on or turn it off, and then proceed to the mode selection. Here, you can choose from: Lost In Space, Frozen Fury, and Inferno.
Whichever mode you choose, you’ll be shown a fun video animation as an origin story of that setting, each featuring four main Pirot characters.
Each mode has its own skin for symbols, gems become snowy on the edges in Frozen Fury, bonus skull symbols get fire for eyes in Inferno, and birds get space helmets in Lost In Space.
In each mode, the background music changes a bit, too, with sound effects reflecting each mode’s theme.
You can switch between these three by clicking on the Space World button.
Within the three-bar menu, you can find Paytable, Info, Settings, and Promotion sections. Under the Paytable and Info section, you can see the overview of the game, mechanics, rules, symbols, and their payout values.
Under Settings, you can set the sound preferences, turn on the Show in Coins option, which displays bets and winnings as coin values instead of real currency, without changing their actual monetary value. And also, you can turn on Quick Play if it’s available in your region.
How to Play Pirots 4
To start playing Pirots 4, you first need to select your bet, which ranges from the minimum 0.20, to the maximum of 10.00.
After this, you just press the Spin button, and the game round begins. The bet amount is locked and cannot be changed until the round fully ends. You can also use Auto Spin to play multiple rounds automatically (only available for non-UK players, since the feature is not allowed by UKGC).
Each game round begins in normal mode on a 6-row by 6-column grid. Symbols drop into the grid from above rather than spinning on traditional reels. Pirots 4 does not use paylines, ways, or clusters. Instead, all wins are created through the movement of the birds on the grid.
There are four birds in the game, each linked to a specific gem colour. Birds move horizontally or vertically across the grid and collect gems, coin symbols, wilds, and feature symbols. A bird continues to move and collect as long as there are adjacent collectable symbols available in those directions (they can’t collect diagonally adjacent gems). When a bird collects symbols, the total value of what it has collected contributes directly to your win for that round.
After the birds can no longer collect any symbols, all collected symbols are removed from the grid. The remaining symbols then fall vertically until they reach a stable position, and new symbols drop in from above to fill any empty spaces. If at least one bird can move again after this refill, the collection process continues. This cycle repeats until no birds can move.
Gems are the primary paying symbols in the game, and each gem has a payout level that ranges from level 1 up to level 7. All gems begin at payout level 1 at the start of a round. When the upgrade or upgrade-all feature symbols are collected, the payout level of the affected gems increases by one, two, or three levels, up to the maximum level of 7. Higher payout levels mean higher potential wins when those gems are collected later in the round.
Pirots 4 Bonus Features
Throughout the game, birds can collect a wide range of feature symbols that significantly affect how each round plays out.
Coin Symbols
Pay their value immediately when collected. They can come in values 5x, 10x, 100x, 500x, and 1000x, paying the multiple of the current bet.
Max Win Coin
Instantly pays the remaining amount needed to reach the game’s maximum win cap. When collected, the current game round ends immediately, and all accumulated winnings are paid out.
Transform Symbols (Gas Canister with a Hose)
Converts nearby gems into the same colour as the collecting bird, and may also generate additional feature symbols.
Spacecorn Symbols
Allow birds to cross empty spaces once, opening new collection paths.
Black Hole Symbols
Trigger the Black Hole feature once birds can no longer move. The Black Hole absorbs all symbols and birds on the grid, then redistributes them in a new order, potentially removing birds and changing gem colours accordingly.
